Teams have Landed in NodeSource Certified Modules
In March, we launched NodeSource Certified Modules. Our goal with Certified Modules is to provide businesses and developers with a secure and reliable source that enables them to to take advantage of the massive ecosystem of modules available to teams and developers working with Node.js every day.
Rolling out features that lower the barrier for everyone is a key part of of our goal to continuously improve the experience of working with the Node.js ecosystem. Last month, we announced SSO capability for Certified Modules, further enabling users to access Certified Modules quickly and efficiently.
Today, we are excited to announce that we’ve launched NodeSource Certified Modules for Teams.
What’s new in Certified Modules for you?
Most, if not all, software development today is done by teams of developers - as such, enabling those teams to collectively use Certified Modules as a team. Additionally, with the teams update comes granular access control for certain capabilities of the platform.
The Teams feature allows users to:
- Create and manage teams through an intuitive user interface
- Set roles for individual team members
- On-demand user invitation and removal
But that's not all...
We’ve had strong interest from smaller teams who typically include teams smaller than 50 members. So we’ve come up with a revised price plan which makes Certified Modules more accessible and affordable to small teams.
- New model sets a lower base account fee, plus per-user pricing.
- Teams with under 50 members will no longer pay for extra, unused seats.
What to Expect Next from Certified Modules
You can expect some new and exciting updates coming to the platform that enable collaboration, enhance control over the modules you depend on, and broaden the scope and power of the features that NodeSource Certified Modules already offers. Stay tuned for more updates and announcements!
And finally...
If you’d like to give NodeSource Certified Modules a shot, you can go sign up (now with GitHub and Google SSO!) and get up and running in just a few minutes.
