This week is a bit calmer than last week in the Node.js Working Groups, seeming to follow the recent trend highly focused weeks being followed by a calm. There have been some exciting updates on the fronts of version management, EPS, and several others.

📰 News from the Working Groups

  • A new discussion around the Node.js Windows Installer (and the macOS installer) and how to help users experiencing issues currently.
  • An issue proposing to run tests against the binaries the Node.js Build WG was created.
  • Work has kicked off to get a Kaby Lake-based server, donated by Intel, into the benchmarking system.
  • An ES Module Resolver specification for package.json files was submitted via PR to the Node.js EPS repo
