Announcing NSolid Version 3.8.2

Nsolid 3.8.2 further introduces the following features:
Extends the Federated Authentication feature launched in NSolid 3.8.0 with support for PingID as a SAML provider.

Notable Changes

There are two available LTS Node.js versions for you to use with N|Solid,
Node.js 12 Erbium and Node.js 10 Dubnium.

  • N|Solid v3.8.2 Dubnium ships with Node.js v10.18.1

  • N|Solid v3.8.2 Erbium ships with Node.js v12.14.1

The Node.js 10 Dubnium LTS release line will continue to be supported until
April 30, 2021.

The Node.js 12 Erbium LTS release line will continue to be supported until
April 30, 2022.

Using Federated Authentication with Okta, One Login and PingID

NodeSource introduced federated authentication with Okta, OneLogin and PingID. Admins, maintaining their NodeSource organization in accounnts.nodesource.com can now connect an IDP to their organization allowing users to authenticate with IDP SSO.
