As spring blooms, so does the N|Solid—with our latest release bringing an exciting wave of new features, critical improvements, and behind-the-scenes optimizations. This update (v6.1.8) is part of our ongoing commitment to deliver the most insightful, stable, and powerful Node.js monitoring and debugging experience available.

Here’s what’s new:

✨ A Smarter, Sleeker Developer Experience

We’ve up-leveled our AI Copilot and AI Service (N|Sentinel) including a revamped assistant interface. Developers can now triage and resolve performance or security issues faster with a revamped AI interface and smarter, more responsive diagnostics—from detailed AI reports, context aware mitigation suggestions, and code generation.

🤖 Enhanced AI Workflows

On the console:

• Updated the UI to always display the assistant window.

AI Services:

• Automatically retrieve user code from the runtime for the N|Sentinel report (this only works for processes connected via gRPC).

N|Solid’s new AI Reports help you resolve issues faster by translating runtime profiling data into clear, actionable insights. Now, you can get automatic retrieval of code from the runtime. N|Solid delivers the industry’s most advanced Node.js issue remediation system.

🎨 UX and Visualization Upgrades

We’ve been listening closely to your feedback—and it’s reflected in a series of visual improvements:

• ✅ No more phantom lines in graphs
• ✅ Fixed data display inconsistencies
• ✅ Cleaner, clearer tooltip styling for the timeline and scatterplot
• ✅ Better asset table layout with updated default AI prompts for the assistant to provide valuable insight on every asset

Plus, check out the redesigned Copilot window—now supporting detailed AI-generated reports with just one click.

⚙️ Under-the-Hood Engineering Wins

Our backend got faster and smarter:

• Prometheus metric parsing is more resilient \
• ZMQ payloads are lighter for snappier agent-to-console communication \
• Process list generation is streamlined \
• Default "Untitled application" labels are replaced with smarter, cleaner names \

🧪 Technical and Testing Enhancements

• We’ve removed deprecated API usage to keep the codebase clean and modern. \
